Faisual was born
hearing. At the age of two he lost his hearing
after suffering from measles and malaria. His
mother became ill at the same time. Her husband
abandoned them claiming it was a curse from the
wife‘s family, and that he himself doesn’t
father disabled children. It’s a common saying
and a belief in Uganda about deafness as deaf
people are called kasiru meaning a fool
or stupid. Faisual is a special boy with unique
wisdom, he attends school at the Deaf Elite
education center. He lives with his mother and
step father in a small house with his two
sisters.
Your help and
support towards his development will change his
life. We welcome any person who is willing to
share in the life of Faisual. Sponsoring his
education and social development will do much to
give Faisual a very glorious future as he also
develops in the knowledge of God. |
